I’m excited to send out the first on-demand video of my Beginner Yoga for Golfers: Supercharge Your Swing Series!
This program was born out of love…for yoga, for teaching, and for my bubsy who was struggling to get the rotation he wanted due to tight muscles and limited mobility.
He asked me if there were any yoga stretches that would help, and the full program was born.
Each class builds in sequence and difficulty, culminating in a full 1+hour flow. Each class is designed to teach you mini sequences that you can do for a shorter practice either on or off the course.
Anyone who regularly (and safely) practices these poses can expect increased:
strength,
balance,
mental focus,
and flexibility (range of motion), especially in the spine and hips.
And this program is NOT just for golfers! It’s for anyone wanting to incorporate and reap the benefits of a regular movement routine. I felt stronger and healthier, more capable and calmer after designing and practicing these sequences myself.
Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect as a Love Letter Fan (paying subscriber):
April: Welcome & Intro (read the program benefits, learn why daily practice, reflect on your goals, assess your beginning state, sign a commitment, and learn about the history and philosophy of this great practice called yoga).
May: Class 1 - Grounding & Warm-up
June: Class 2 - Sun Salutations
July: Class 3 - Standing Hips & Twists
August: Class 4 - Standing Hips & Twists continued
September: Class 5 - Back & Core
October: Class 6 - Floor & Close
November: Class 7 - Mindful Breathing
December: Class 8 - Full Flow
You’ll build slowly, at your own pace, and have lots of time to practice each class before the next one drops.
By the end of 2023, you’ll have:
established a regular practice,
noticed the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga,
and seen progress in your identified areas of growth.
